Activities

The following is kind of an overview of activities I do -- mainly for myself to keep track. If you happen to hear me on air, please say hi :).

DK0MM: 70cm activities

DK0MM is the clubstation callsign of DOK F39 (Ober-Ramstadt) of the DARC where I'm member.

Every second tuesday DK0MM takes part in the 70cm-activities across europe, mostly doing skeds via the ON4KST chat and using aircraft scatter.

We are using a triple stacked yagi configuration running 700W and are happy to have QSOs in SSB and CW.

DL0DPM: Museum of communication

One sunday per month I'm running the station DL0DPM on top of the Museum of Communication Frankfurt.

The main focus is opening the station for visitors of the museum and explaining the possibilities of the Amateur Radio Service – so I'm not much 'on air' there. If we have a QSO please be prepared that I might hop of quite abruptly if visitors join in.

DP9S: "Jamborees on the air"

In summer 2025 I had the opportunity to co-organize and operate DP9S on a jamboree summer camp, where we gave workshops, took young people on air and had a contact to the antartica with the Georg-Von-Neumayer-station (DP0GVN).

DR9A: Some contest activity

If time allows I'm helping out at DR9A with contests on 2m and higher frequencies.
